Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. It’s grounded in the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected—and by adjusting how we think, we can influence how we feel and respond to life’s challenges. CBT is goal-oriented and often short-term, making it effective for treating a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. During therapy, clients work collaboratively with their therapist to develop skills that promote healthier thinking, problem-solving, and emotional regulation. Whether you're navigating daily stress or working through deeper struggles, CBT offers tools you can use in everyday life to feel more empowered and in control. Our therapists are trained in CBT and are here to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. Originally developed for people with borderline personality disorder, DBT has since been adapted to effectively support those dealing with anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, eating disorders, and other emotion regulation challenges. DBT blends cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, emphasizing acceptance and change at the same time. Clients learn skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through a combination of individual therapy, skills training, and phone coaching, DBT helps people stay grounded in the present, reduce impulsive behaviors, and navigate relationships more effectively. Our trained DBT therapists provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can grow, heal, and build a life worth living. If you often feel overwhelmed by emotions or struggle with self-destructive patterns, DBT offers real, lasting tools for change.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a modern, evidence-based approach that helps individuals build psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present, accept what’s outside of their control, and take meaningful action aligned with their values. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or feelings, ACT encourages a compassionate, mindful relationship with them. Through guided exploration, mindfulness strategies, and values clarification, clients learn to accept inner experiences without being overwhelmed or controlled by them. ACT is particularly helpful for those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, or life transitions. It supports individuals in stepping away from avoidance and toward a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. In ACT, healing is not about “fixing” yourself, but about making room for who you are while creating a life that truly matters. Our therapists use ACT to help clients strengthen self-awareness, embrace change, and live with greater purpose and resilience—even in the face of challenge.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a breakthrough, evidence-based approach that helps individuals process and resolve trauma, anxiety, grief, phobias, and other distressing experiences—often in fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy. ART combines elements of established therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy with rapid eye movements to help the brain reprocess painful memories. Rather than requiring detailed retelling of traumatic events, ART focuses on how the memory is stored, not what happened, allowing for effective healing without re-traumatization. Many clients report feeling relief after just one to five sessions. ART helps reduce the emotional intensity of troubling memories, replacing them with more positive or neutral images, while preserving the facts of what occurred. It’s a powerful option for people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by past experiences. Our trained ART therapists offer a safe, compassionate space where healing can happen gently but quickly—helping you move forward with clarity, calm, and renewed strength.
